A Visual & Performing Arts Workshop
(Note: Info about this workshop is currently located on my fluid painting business website called the Dirty Pour Project.
Official website for Creative Kids is coming soon)
Hi friends! Chelle here. I hope everyone is hanging in there ok.
During this difficult time, I know many parents are choosing to keep their children at home to complete their school work. I myself have an upcoming 2nd grader who will be homeschooling.
I wanted to create a small group workshop that gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity, get outdoors and socialize safely with peers.
The Creative Kids Project promotes the theme of
G.E.M. (Gratitude, Empathy & Mindfulness)
through the Visual and Performing Arts.
Every workshop will consist of 3-4 different activities.
These may include but not limited to:
Painting -Fluid Painting, Watercolors, or Acrylics
Theater Script Reading and acting
Hip Hop Dance Combinations
Paper Origami Designs
Bead Work: Bracelets or Key Chains
STEM - Awesome Engineering Activities
Drawing & Coloring
Freestyle Choreography Games
(Specific activities will be listed for each workshop upon announcement)
Who may attend?
Currently the CKP workshop will fit best for students 6-10 years of age with availability during week days.
Location and Length:
Workshops will be held at Blue Jacket Park under the shade of a large oak tree. Time length will average 3 hours. Usually 9am-12pm.
Dates will be sporadic to begin with.. but may develop into a routine event in the future.
Workshops will currently be limited to only 5 students.
Children will be kept separated by performing their activities on individual "pods".
All materials will be sanitized before and after use.
Hand sanitizer will be available at all times.
I will be teaching from a distance and will wear a mask if a student requires closer assistance. Masks for students are optional.
Cost will vary depending on the activities and time length for each workshop.
-Our first workshop will be announced soon-
